Our Stationery Date is a private, creative experience just for the two of you in our cozy, bright letterpress studio + shop. Theresa guides you through the making and handles the prep and cleanup. You’ll learn a craft, enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience, and leave with luxurious letterpress stationery—and memories—that you made together.
Come with a partner, best friend, sister, mother or daughter, or colleague. Or give a Stationery Date and let the recipient choose what to make.

Bespoke workshops make wonderful gifts!
If you’d like to give a workshop to a friend, partner, or family member, just purchase the workshop and let us know at checkout (in order notes). Tell us who the gift is for, who it’s from, and the recipient’s mailing address. We’ll mail them a letterpress card announcing their Stationery Date and letting them know it’s a gift from you.
Personalized Note Cards
$300
Print your own personalized social stationery on a working 1910 treadle-operated platen letterpress. You and a friend will learn how to typeset your name(s) or short phrase using our collection of metal type, set up the press, and print. You’ll each get your own set of 25 (50 cards/envelopes total).

Please note that we request 4 weeks notice to allow for Theresa to plan her schedule accordingly. We cannot promise your exact date, but will do our best to work with you if you have a special occasion to celebrate together.

Bespoke workshop are designed for adults. Participants ages 13-17 may attend with advance permission and must be accompanied by a responsible adult who remains present throughout the workshop. Please email theresa@opentobeing.com before booking if you'd like to bring a teen participant.
All participants must sign a safety waiver onsite acknowledging the use of heavy machinery, sharp tools, and materials that require careful handling. All equipment will be used under direct supervision.
We may photograph during the workshop for promotional use on our website and social media. You'll have the option to consent or decline via a photo release form at the start of the workshop
