Stationery Date: Letterpress Workshop for Two

Create personalized letterpress stationery together as you set your name or a favorite word in metal type and print it on a historic working press from 1910.

Our Stationery Date is a private, creative experience just for the two of you in our cozy, bright letterpress studio + shop. Theresa guides you through the making and handles the prep and cleanup. You’ll learn a craft, enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience, and leave with luxurious letterpress stationery—and memories—that you made together.

Come with a partner, best friend, sister, mother or daughter, or colleague. Or give a Stationery Date and let the recipient choose what to make.

Corner Rounding - $15

Round the corners of your note cards for a polished, professional finish

Foil Pressed Envelopes - $50

Elevate your envelopes with a gold, silver, or colored foil design printed on the flap using decorative ornaments in our letterpress type collection.

Your Artwork - $50

Print your own design or illustration instead of typeset text. Includes consultation on what works best for letterpress and polymer plate production.

Custom ink color - $50

Choose a Pantone color for your ink, and we’ll have it ready for your workshop.

Wax Seal Lesson - $25

Learn to seal envelopes with wax. This add-on is a demonstration that includes tips and recommendations for doing your own wax seals on stationery.

Extra Journal - $50

Make a second journal for yourself or to give as a gift.

Bookmark - $25

Create your own one-of-a-kind bookmark using letterpress print remnants and printmaking embellishment techniques.

Third Participant · $75

Invite one more person to join you. Please discuss this with us before booking so we can confirm the project and any additional time needed. Three people maximum for Stationery Dates.

Additional Time · $75/hour

Some add-ons require more time than the two-hour workshop allows. We’ll discuss the time needed and confirm the cost during your consultation.

1. Purchase the workshop. In the notes section at purchase, you can indicate any extras you're interested in as well as dates you'd prefer for scheduling.
2. Within 48 hours of placing your order, we'll reach out to set up a consultation time to schedule and discuss a plan for your workshop.
3. If you would like to add on any extras, we'll send you a separate invoice. Extras must all be paid no later than 1 week in advance of the scheduled workshop date.
   

Please allow at least four weeks’ notice when requesting a workshop date. Dates are subject to availability. While we cannot promise your exact date, we will do our best to work with you if you have a special occasion to celebrate together.
