This month at the table, I'm featuring Greta Wilhelm of Clay & Candle. Greta's candles bring warmth and beauty to shorter days, whether you want to get cozy on Valentine's Day with someone you love or enhance your own home or work space. Her soy wax candles come in reusable vessels that add sparkle and joy to any environment.

Free to drop in. Each card you make is $4 or three for $11 (make as many as you'd like!)

Drop into our Arlington letterpress studio + shop after brunch or bring the family. Step up to our 1910 press (named Vera) to impress a letterpress heart on a premium extra thick cotton card. Write a love message for someone special or design an affirmation card for yourself.

All ages welcome. Please be aware that our letterpress has movable iron parts close to the ground that may not be safe for children. We appreciate you staying with your child at all times while in the studio.

It's time for spring studio cleaning and our first annual seconds sale! I'm making space for new work, so it's your chance to stock up on greeting cards for the year and letterpress art prints for your home.

The table will feature "seconds" at reduced prices. These cards and prints have minor flaws like smudges or marks, uneven coloring, or misaligned printing. All the Open to Being designs and messages you love, just with a little more personality.

Open to Being's signature shopping event opens our boutique letterpress studio in Arlington to the DC metro area. Founder Theresa Esterlund curates each gathering around our central communal table, featuring select local creative entrepreneurs and exceptional handcrafted goods.
